Gaby Carter, ND, CVT

Dr. Gaby is a primary care naturopathic physician who focuses on treating the whole person by utilizing primarily homeopathic medicine in conjunction with other naturopathic modalities. Dr. Gaby before attending National University of Natural Medicine had a career as a licensed veterinary technician and worked in veterinary surgery and anesthesia for more than 16 years. While attending NUNM, she discovered the healing potential of constitutional homeopathy. She treats all patients combining conventional and naturopathic modalities to affect true healing at the deepest core of their beings. She helps patients make lasting changes on their own terms.

Dr. Gaby received her degree from Ohio University in Native American Community Development and her veterinary technician’s license from the State of Wisconsin. While attending NUNM, she focused in pediatrics, homeopathy and addictions medicine. Working as a medical student intern at Mercy and Wisdom and InAct were the highlights of Dr. Gaby’s clinical education at NUNM. Having the experience of working with veterinary patients and their human companions has allowed Dr. Gaby to witness true healing in all beings in of all stages of life. Dr. Gaby has over 23 years of medical experience and training that she continues to utilize with every patient interaction.

Professionally Dr. Gaby has advanced training in alternative pain management techniques, including trigger point injections, prolotherpay and PRP,  is a certified diabetic educator and has a subspecialty focuses in men’s health and homeopathy. She was recently working in a remote, rural location of Washington State in an under served community and is excited that she does not have to travel an hour and a half for everyday household provisions.
